What we collect
We only ask for what we need to answer you and to deliver what you order:
- Your name, so we know who we are speaking to.
- Your phone and WhatsApp number, because that is how we reply.
- Your email address, if you give one, so invoices reach your accounts office.
- Your location or delivery address, so we can quote and deliver.
- Details of what you need — quantity, frequency, land size, property type, preferred date, and any notes you write.
- Your organisation name, if you are buying for a school, church, estate, hotel or company, so we can invoice correctly.
- Records of our dealings — quotes, orders, bookings, invoices, payments and the messages we exchange.
We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your bank card details, your mobile money PIN, or any government identity number.
Why we use it
| Purpose | What this means in practice |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry | Replying to your message, preparing and sending a quote. |
| Fulfilling an order or booking | Scheduling delivery or a site visit, assigning a crew, arriving where you asked. |
| Invoicing and payment | Issuing invoices and receipts, taking payment, chasing what is owed. |
| Keeping business records | Meeting our tax and accounting obligations in Ghana. |
| Marketing, only if you agree | Weekly price lists, reorder reminders, seasonal offers. Separate consent, and you can stop it at any time. |
Consent to marketing is never a condition of buying from us. If you tick nothing, we will still answer you and still deliver.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We do use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
- Meta (WhatsApp) — when you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits on WhatsApp.
- Our website host and hosting provider — serving these pages and receiving form submissions.
- Our payment provider — processing mobile money and card payments. They handle the payment details; we never see your full card number or your PIN.
- Our email provider — delivering quotes, invoices and receipts.
Some of these providers operate outside Ghana, which means your information may be processed abroad. We only use providers who commit to appropriate security, and we share the minimum they need.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
| Information | Kept for |
|---|---|
| An enquiry that never became an order | 12 months from our last contact, then deleted |
| Customer and order records | 6 years, to meet tax record obligations |
| Invoices, receipts and payment records | 6 years |
| Chat and call transcripts | 90 days, then deleted — we keep only the order details taken from them |
| Marketing consent records | As long as your consent stands, plus 2 years, so we can show what you agreed to |
How we protect it
- Access to customer records is limited to the people who need it, each with their own login.
- Two-factor authentication on the accounts that hold customer data.
- Database-level access controls, so records cannot be read by an account that is not entitled to them.
- We do not email customer lists around in spreadsheets.
- If personal information is ever lost or exposed, we will act promptly to contain it and will tell the people affected where there is a real risk to them.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.
- Object to how we are using your information, including for marketing.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, without affecting anything you have already ordered.
Write to privacy@lenniefarms.com or use the data request page. We will respond as quickly as we can and in any case within the time the law allows. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana, at dataprotection.org.gh. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right, but that route is always open to you.
Children
This is a business-to-business and household services site. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Changes to this notice
If we change what we collect, why we collect it, or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change is significant and affects you, we will tell you directly.
